No Man's Sky is under development yet as of now. However, though it was already been slated for 2015 release, there is still no direct hints from the game developer whether they will be releasing the game this year or it might be a bit delayed. Recently, they revealed that they are still on the process of making sure that they can make it on time.
When it was first announced during the convention last year, a lot of fans have been curious to this procedurally-generated gameplay, No Man's Sky, because of its rarity unlike other engines used by some amazing game titles. Just this year, it was finally revealed that it would come this year after a lot of hoax articles out online.
With that confirmation from Hello Games themselves, a lot are expecting that it will surely arrive in 2015 in PS4 and PC platforms. But, it is already in the middle of the year, but still there are no clues given by the developing team about its launching.
So far, what they have revealed to the public is that they are now on the verge of using third party to the wide scope of the 18 quintillion worlds of No Man's Sky. Hello Games created a computer generated robot to help them in making details in the game.
Through the use of the robot, they will have less time to consume in probing the worlds in the entire gameplay through taking videos to document the happenings inside these worlds. This will be done one by one per world to record the on-going developments. This is the main role of the robot - to do the video game exploration.
There are no other reports citing details about the main reason why they have to make the third party to examine the entire game. There are two slated reasons. First, it might be possible that Hello Games is just trying to ensure every detail of the game is examined and well-monitored and well-documented. Second, it might be a hint that the developing team has been too pressured to reach the goal of launching it this year.
Based from the existing reports, they are just making strategies to make the entire game ensured for optimal gaming experience for the massive world in No Man's Sky. It might be that Hello Games will delay No Man's Sky PS4, PC gameplay release.
