Many Android and Xiaomi users are now on their toes waiting for the release of the Xiaomi Mi Note which was announced earlier this year. However, as longed as this "semi-high end" device is, the Xiaomi Mi Note is only available in China.
But slowly, the Chinese smart phone manufacturer is slowly expanding its horizon in Asian countries. According to the report made by GSM Arena, Xiaomi had already passed the certification in Malaysia. This would mean that Xiaomi might be available for access to those who are living in Malaysia.
Xiaomi was given a certification by the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia or SIRIM to release its Xiaomi Mi Note in the country. Through this release, it would pave the way for Xiaomi to release its handset in other Asian countries.
According to the Malaysian website Oizoioi, the Xiaomi device was given a guised as a phone with the model number 2015011. Allegedly, a mobile with a model number of 2014215 is rumored to be a 3G model of the Xiaomi Mi 4.
The Xiaomi Mi Note, for those who are not familiar with the phablet, is an android powered device which is considered as a semi-high end device. It sports a 5.7 inch display with a full HD resolution (1192 x 1080). It has a 3 GB RAM and is powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core CPU. Its internal storage has a 16 GB and a 64 GB variant.
