The nightmare would not be over just yet as the creator of "Five Nights at Freddy's" announced the fourth and final installment of the jump scare game that had swept mobile and PC gamers literally off their feet in the previous months. An image featuring the infamous animatronic bear was posted on the game maker's website and included a date for its release.

"FNaF" gamers could check Scott Cawthon's website and see the splash page featuring Freddy Fazbear holding a top hat on his right hand while his mutilated body held several smaller Freddy heads with razor sharp teeth. Apart from that, it featured the date, October 31, which many gamers believed as the launch date for the series finale, "Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter," based on a report from Attack of the Fan Boy.

The "FNaF" franchise had barely reached its first anniversary and it had already featured three games that made mobile and PC gamers jump off their seats. Apart from that, the game would soon be having its film adaptation, which many "FNaF" fans had been anticipating, although a date was yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, Scott Cawthon might have started teasing "FNaF" gamers initially with the missing top hat on his website where he usually made announcements regarding his horror-survival game. Many fans had speculated that the missing top hat on Cawthon's website was a sign that Freddy would soon be back to haunt the gamers' senses. Apparently, those gamers were correct especially with Cawthon's recently released teaser on his website.

The both images (the missing top hat and the recent Freddy teaser) certainly drew a lot of attention from "Five Nights at Freddy's" fans. Other than the excitement from the fans, some gaming enthusiasts commented that the series was a cash cow especially with the pacing of the release for each installment. Add to that, the game would soon be making its way to the big screen, although there was still no specific date set for its movie release.

In an earlier report, it was revealed that "FNaF 3" was supposed to be the last chapter in the series as it was set 30 years after the events in "Five Nights at Freddy's 1 & 2." The last game even came out with two endings depending on how the gamers went through the side quests. It would still be a mystery what would be in store for "FNaF" gamers in the upcoming installment of the franchise.

"Five Nights at Freddy's 4: The Final Chapter" was speculated for release on Halloween, this year; however, some gaming reports shared that the PC version might possibly come first before the game's mobile launch.
