After the enigmatic first trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, a second trailer came out revealing the release date of the game to be on November 6, 2015. However, one of the major news for COD fans is that for the first time in the series, the game allows gender choice for the protagonist in Single player campaign.
This is a first in the Call of Duty series as every "super hero" soldier, whether thwarting the Nazi advance in Europe or stopping terrorists from detonating nuclear weapons, all COD protagonists are male. Treyarch said to Gamespot that Call of Duty Black Ops 3 will have "gender neutral" storyline to cope with the gender choice option. This means that even if gamers choose female leads, the game interaction and dialogue will not feel weird.
Because of so many firsts in the franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is slowly being considered as the most expansive Call of Duty game to date. The game is set for release on November 6, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
