Skydiving and Hijacking maybe a typical feature in many open world games today, but skydiving on to a jet fighter in mid-flight and hijacking it, then that's Just Cause 3 in action. The worldwide premiere of the official gameplay footage of Just Cause 3 shows that Avalanche ups the ante for the franchise.
Just Cause is an open world game franchise with Rico Rodriguez, the protagonist, insanely executing stunts using a grappling hook and parachute that would shame Spiderman. Now, it's the third installment in the series and everything seems to be multiplied thrice from insane gameplay to insanely tripled gameplay. Watch the trailer and see how the art of skydiving, jet-fighter hijack is performed flawlessly.
Avalanche issued an official blurb to introduce the video as posted in Eurogamer.
"This footage is all actual gameplay. It was captured in-game using cinematic camera angles. It contains no cut scenes. Nothing was staged or scripted."
This simply says that "what you see is what you get," and from the footage alone, the game looks fun. Many will be satisfied by the trailer as it shows Avalanche not succumbing to "ultra-realism" movement followed by many open-world game developers today. The team made it sure that the element of fun is not taken out of the game no matter how insanely ludicrous it is, which made the Just Cause franchise successful.
According to Gamespot, the game will feature a 400 square mile map divided into three main areas, which can be explored immediately from the start. The game also reveals a destructive environment, increasing the fun factor for gamers who like to blow stuff up.
Square-Enix and Avalanche also will include the "weaponized vehicle pack for those who will pre-order the game. Just Cause 3 is set for release during the Holidays later this year for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. With big triple A games set for release during this year's last quarter, gamers will surely have one of the best gaming holidays in history.
