Hawaii Five-0 Season 5 Episode 23 Updates: Kono Trapped in An Island Alone; Experience May Cause Her To Quit Job

By

A lot of things are happening at Hawaii Five-0 as the series is down to its last episode before the season finale.

In the episode entitled Mo'o 'olelo Pu, one of the show's protagonist, Kono sets on a solo journey around the island of Hawaii to honour the memory of her mother however, an unexpected severe weather condition threatens her safety. The episode highlights her struggle to stay safe and even, to keep herself alive against the vilest of Hawaii weathers.

In connection with Kono being trapped while remembering the memories of her mother, spoilers hint that the harsh weather is a premonition of what is to come to Kono. Many think that there is no happily ever after for Adam and Kono and that she'll die before the season ends though Carter Matt points out that Kono's death does not fit on how the story unfolds for this season.

There is much rejoice from fans to see Adam and Kono exchange "I dos" hence her death is seen to greatly dismay fans. In fact, many thinks that Kono being trapped in the island is just to cause tension, for her to value her life more and take care of herself for the man he loves. Recall Kono is concerned about Adam and the business he is engaged with his Dad. This is Kono's major cause of apprehension for her marriage with Adam. Another scenario is Kono being in a coma until the season finale and the rest of the penultimate episodes center on her rescue.

At the farther end of speculations, her survival amidst the storm gives Kono second thoughts about her job and may possibly leave it for Adam who has expressed dislike about it since. Does season 5 finale means Kono leaving Five-O and the job closest to her heart for Adam?

Hawaii Five-0's season finale airs on Friday May 8 at 10PM, following a regular episode at 9PM on CBS.
