Once the House of Wolves expansion makes it big, Bungie will be stopping Commendations and other changes to the expansion that are going out with Update 1.2.0.
Commendations are a class of currencies earned through appreciation of Vanguard Commendation or Crucible ranks for the purpose of purchasing new weapons of gear from time to time.
The next Iron Banner was supposed to launch on 10:00 a.m. PT, Tuesday, April 28 - so announces a recent post, but moved to a later date to enable Bungie to keep an eye on "the impact that Update 1.1.2 would have on the Crucible." Players will be able to earn some new class Helms from Lord Saladin.
A multitude of gamers persevered close on his heels to encounter new characters and to learn about the future they'll hold to your old gear.
Here are some highlights:
- New Crucible and Vanguard gear can be upgraded with various perk sets by the Gunsmith.
- Petra Venj becomes your new primary story agent.
- Brother Vance will help you inch your way through the Trials of Osiris.
- Variks the Loyal is the Warden of the Prison of Elders.
- The Reef will uphold your new adventures with a Cryptarch, a Postmaster, a Bounty Tracker, and another Vault terminal.
- You can exchange upgrade materials, with the Speaker, in the Tower
- New weapons as well as gear in the Factions' inventory.
Hitting the main game of the upcoming House of Wolves expansion, Bungie held a Destiny livestream this week. This will give players insights about what to expect from House of Wolves. The developer will then stream Trials of Osiris Reveal at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29 on the official Bungie livestream.
