There is good news to all the fans of phenomenal racer Jules Bianchi. Jules is now declared to be out of artificial coma and can also even breathe unaided. Despite being in quite a critical state, Jules Bianchi's condition has improved a lot, as witnessed by his family. He has been transferred into a hospital in Nice, France wherein he continuously receives intensive care and serious medical attention.
Jules Bianchi, 25, met a fatal car accident at the Japanese Grand Prix last October 5, 2014. His family has been a major support for the racer in his ongoing recovery process. They shared, "Jules is no longer in the artificial coma in which he was placed shortly after the accident, however, he is still unconscious. He is breathing unaided and his vital signs are stable but his condition is still classified as critical. His treatment now enters a new phase concerned with the improvement of his brain function."
Additionally, FIA spokesman Matteo Bonciani shared with The Associated Press in a phone interview that "Bianchi is in a serious but stable condition." Bianchi's family also stated that the racer is now breathing unaided and that his vital signs have appeared to be stable. Since Jules has been suffering from diffuse axonal injury which happens in a widespread area of the brain that affects many brain functions including respiration and alertness, his treatment has now entered a new phase that primarily concerns the improvement of his brain function.
Bianchi's parents also said that Jules' neurological condition has continued to remain stable and that they were relieved to report that it has been possible to transfer Jules to Le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Nice (CHU). Furthermore, according to them, Jules has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Professors Raucoules and Ichai, where he will be monitored by Head of Neurosurgery Service, Professor Paquis.
Together with his family, people from different parts of the world are praying fro Jules Bianchi's stable and swift recovery.
