Legend of Zelda Wii U: Gameplay Demo Remastered on Zeltik Youtube channel features familiar sounds; Nintendo announces new release date

The Legend of Zelda Wii U gameplay demo remastered by the avid fan will surely give players something to hang on to while the game is still in its development. This is as tangible as it can get as the release, which was supposedly this year, has been postponed.

Earlier this year was The Game Awards where The Legend of Zelda Wii U has been given some exposure. The host himself, Geoff Keighley, is a supporter of the video game, and was very hopeful that it would be showcased in the event. AttackOfTheFanBoy recounts his answered prayer by demonstrating more than the E3 footage, but an actual demo of the game.

The thing with the preview during that time was that there was no sound as a commentary was taking place. Nevertheless, the demo managed to get a new sense of life when a creative fanatic remastered the video and added sounds.

A more detailed description of what went on the video was covered by Design & Trend as they visited the Zeltik channel on Youtube. Apparently, the gameplay in the preview was matched with external sound files. This replaced the entirety of Eiji Aonuma and Sigeru Miyamoto's conversation.

The end result was that what one can hear would be environmental sound effects such as wind, birds, and galloping - all of which were taken from Youtube stock clips. Albeit, the fans were the ones who composed the music, which they imagined would be suited themes for the Nintendo entry.

Supporters of the game will find some of the sounds familiar as parts have used Owen Mair's work for the Kakariko Village and overworld themes.

Considering that Nintendo has announced last March that the planned 2015 launch date will not be met, nor will the game be presented in this year's E3, the Legend of Zelda Wii U Gameplay Demo Remastered might as well be considered its main highlight to cover for the coming months.
