The PS Plus free games May 2015 line-up downloadable by May 5 via PlayStation Store is more than plenty of reasons for PS4, PS Vita and PS3 system gamers to celebrate the month.

On Wednesday, Sony has announced the list of games PlayStation Plus users can download free this May 2015. PS4 owners are entitled to five free games, four freebies are available for PSVita, and three for PS3. The games listed as follows will be downloadable at no charge for subscribers when the PlayStation Store refreshes on May 5, Gamespot reported.

  • Guacamelee Super Championship Turbo Edition
  • Race the Sun
  • Hohokum
  • The Unfinished Swan

PlayStation 3

  • Hohokum
  • Race the Sun
  • The Unfinished Swan

IBTimes noted that more than fifty percent of Sony's eighth-generation PS4 owners have been using PlayStation Plus, Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai confirmed during a February investor call.

"All the 4.2 million PS4s that have already moved into the hands of consumers, more than half of the people that have now gotten their hands [on] the PS4 have actually signed up for PS Plus service, which bodes very well for us," Hirai said.

The site added that it was not made clear whether the number of PlayStation Plus users count in those who have an active free 30-day PS Plus trial that came with the PS4 or Hirai only meant those PlayStation Network users who paid for a subscription on their own.

PS Plus membership charges $49.99 for one year and $17.99 for three months subscription. Online usage for the PS3 was available free to gamers.

The PS Plus free games May 2015 line-up will be up for grabs and available for download when PlayStation Store refreshes on Tuesday, May 5.
