The Apple TV is set to have an upgrade this 2015. Announcements regarding the release date and price is expected to happen at the 26th Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco. The recent price cut for the Apple TV from $ 99 to $ 69 signifies that Apple is ready to release a new model of the said device. The new model is said to include new features to the said device like the inclusion of the App Store, Voice command with Siri, and the rumored internet TV service.
Apple might be a bit late in releasing something new to the Apple TV, but this year, a serious revamped for the device will come to order. The addition of the App store to device makes it wide-ranged since it would allow its users to project apps and games in their TV screen. The incorporation of Siri in Apple TV gives it a seemingly smart device format as it can be manipulated via voice command.
The long rumored Internet-TV Service might make its appearance in the upcoming Apple TV model. It has been reported by The Wall Street Journal that Apple is planning on building an online television service. The said service will handle 25 channels and would make its debut in the coming Apple TV. Fans might need to watch out for this new feature.
Other reports about the upcoming Apple TV are that it will include more storage as compared to its predecessor. It will be incorporating within its circuits the company's latest A8 mobile chip. The Apple TV which will be released this 2015 will sport basic home automation features, although some of these features were already built into the model that the company has been shipping.
The Apple TV 2015 with its new features will be unveiled this coming June at the WWDC in Barcelona.
