iPad Pro Release Date, Specs: 12.9 inch screen with iPen aims for Professional Users; 7000 Series Aluminum Supported

By

One of the most anticipated device releases from Apple is the iPad Pro or sometimes referred to as the iPad Plus. Sporting a 12.9 inch size screen, the iPad Pro is exceptionally larger compared to the full sized tablet, iPad Air 2. The new iPad Pro is said to compete against the mammoth sized tablet by Samsung and Microsoft.

Now the concept of a larger iPad Pro might be a new concept for Apple since the company is known to make their devices more intact and more diminutive in size. But the iPad Pro is aimed specifically for professional users who would value a larger screen especially in their line of work.

Another probable reason why Apple had to develop a larger iPad Pro is that it will be releasing a stylus called iPen to complement the device. According to the report by Ming-Chi Kuo (via Know Your Mobile), Apple will launch a stylus together with a larger iPad in the second quarter of this year. This is being based on a number of stylus themed patents that Apple had filed and his own personal research. He also added that the stylus will be optional for the device but this will change depending on the feedback of its users.

Aside from the iPad Pro being an exceptionally large device, the device has four speakers built into the ends for speakers. The iPad Pro will be sporting a "7000 Series" aluminum material, a Touch ID feature, and will be powered by a A9 processor chip. The device will have a 4 GB RAM and LTE capabilities. The Apple device will run on iOS 9 similar to other anticipated devices. The iPad Pro also has an array of color options - silver, gold, and space gray - similar to that of the iPhone. Other features include a USB Type C port, Force Touch technology, and Bluetooth Stylus.

The iPad Pro with its amazing specs is pegged for a 4Q 2015 release date.
