NCIS Season 12 Finale Update: Emily Wickersham prepares fans for ‘Neverland’ as an ‘emotional episode’; Who will leave CBS series?

Fans looking for an NCIS season 12 finale update will be glad to know that they will not be deprived of it. Certain cast and crew members, and even CBS itself, have their own pieces to say that will show how gripping the last 12th season will come to a close.

The episode to air on May 5 is entitled, "The Lost Boys." Whereas the finale in May 12 is entitled, "Neverland." Notice that these titles have the purpose to pay homage to Peter Pan, as enlightened by a report on FoxNews. Consequently, the storyline involves innocent children being caught up in following orders for doing dirty work.

The main highlight for the finale would be the upcoming death for the team which will be deemed as "a big loss for the team." This is alongside the investigation of the terrorist group of child-recruiters.

As reported on TV Line, Emily Wickersham, who portrays Special Agent Ellie Bishop, describes the May 12 episode in her statement which goes, "It's just an emotional episode for the team. The loss is a very motivating thing, and we'll see what the team does with that."

Furthermore, Mimi Rogers will guest star as a CIA agent on the finale, according to CarterMatt. Her character will look into an deep issue which has to do with "multiple branches of government and law enforcement."

Going back to the finale, IBTimes furthers the intensity of the death that is in store for the NCIS season 12 finale, as Gary Glasberg, the series boss, says that it will lead to big events. Coming from an interview with TV Line, as with Wickersham, Glasberg said, "We will suffer a very significant loss [that will lead to] a big Gibbs (Mark Harmon) moment."

This NCIS season 12 finale update should only keep fans alert for more news because a lot of suspense and uncertainty is yet to unfold. The series airs on CBS every Tuesday, from 8:00PM-9:00PM.
