Two Chinese analysts revealed that Sony is supplying a lot of camera sensors for iPhone 6c devices that will give vibrant colors in daylight. This also hints that a four-inch smartphone is imminent this year. A rumor surfaced that the Force Touch technology may be exclusive for iPhone 6s Plus, which will improve user experience.
Further, Apple was granted 38 patents that cover various products, especially about the Apple Watch, a pair to their iPhone devices.
Apple iPhone 6c this year
Recent reports allegedly coming from China are giving hints that there are a lot of Sony camera sensors being produced for Apple, but are currently having problems with the snapper supply.
A well-known analyst from China in the IT department Pan Jiutang and Chief Analyst at Electronic System Design Shun Changxu have revealed this information, who are said to be reliable sources.
The two analysts revealed that Sony is unable to manage large amount of orders after Apple reserved a lot of camera sensors for the iPhone 6c, where Sony is also unable to meet at least 50% of the demands from Chinese smarphone manufacturers. Because of this information, this implied that Apple is set to release a four-inch device this year, contrary to claims by KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
A report reveals the quality of a Sony camera sensor.
Force Touch may be exclusive for iPhone 6s Plus
If there is a possible iPhone 6c, rumors about the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus could turn out to be true after all.
However, Ming-Chi Kuo previously tipped investors that the next-generation of iPhones would include Force Touch technology, and that the inclusion of the technology would be an enough reason for Apple to skip the iPhone 6s and proceed to iPhone 7.
Nevertheless, another rumor was cited that the "Force Touch technology may only be exclusive to the larger smartphone," namely the iPhone 6s Plus. With the Force Touch, it will improve user experience.
Whatever the name of the next iPhone is going to be, it would surely be paired with the Apple Watch.
