Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) had been through a lot these past few episodes. Following Derek's death, she left Seattle with her two kids, left a note saying they will be fine and was unexpectedly pregnant of a baby girl. It might seem that the carousel would not stop spinning around the lives of the people close to Derek.
While on the last episode Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) did not acknowledge what news Meredith delivered to them at the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, in episode 22 it seemed that the death of her brother Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) just sunk in. She was about to take a handful of drugs when Owen arrived, where she fell on his arms and cried hard. "Every man I've ever loved has died. Including my baby. Thank you, Universe," Amelia said.
It was officially announced that the coming episode 23 already has a title which is "Time Stops." On its press release, Seattle is set to face another catastrophe. The tragedy that will come will make the doctors' emotions be pushed aside and focus on work.
Meredtih and Amelia will also be highly emotional on Derek's death. Amelia blames Meredith for going over the decision of mercy killing her older brother. "I could have saved him. How could you do it? I didn't get to tell him goodbye because of you," Amelia told Meredith.
And on its final season next week entitled "You're My Home," "Mentalist" star Joe Adler will be a guest on Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 24. Though his role was not confirmed yet by ABC, he will appear on episodes 24 and 25. Also, "Reign" actor Giacomo Gianniotti has a returning role and will join "The Maze Runner" star.
"Grey's Anatomy" will air this May 7 and the finale episode next week, May 14 on ABC. There's so much to look forward to in these last few episodes so you better not miss one.
