"Pokemon the Movie XY 2015", possibly the best "Pokemon" film ever made, is confirmed to air in the United States! Pokemon-sters, Cheers!
From a report by Yibada, the movie will be re-titled to "Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" once it is shown in the country. The new title gives emphasis on the mythical Hoopa's upcoming battle with the newly awakened bunch of evil Pokemons led by none other than another form of itself but much taller and heavier in figure, the Hoopa Unbound named "Super Hoopa".
Legends for Legends.
The movie plot has it that the modern world's current peace came from the defeat of the Super Hoopa 100 years ago but its return brings the world and the nearby planets at risk when it summons all the legendary Pokemons Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Kyurem from its six rings to start rampage again.
To save the Earth from crumbling, the good Hoopa also calls for help from more legendary Pokemons from its rings.
One thing that Super Hoopa doesn't have is adorable Hoopa's newly found friends Satoshi and Pikachu whom it calls as "Saton" and "Pikan" and together they are going to the battlefield to help in defending the planet.
The official sound track of the movie in its Japanese release is "Tweedia" by Rei Yasuda.
It has also been revealed that the opening act will be Pikachu and the Pokémon Music Band performing a "beautiful harmony". Anime News Network described it as "the first in the world!"
The voice talents to dub the movie in English have not been announced yet. However in the Japanese version, the guest voices include Tatsuya Fujiwara as Barza, Koichi Yamadera as Hoopa Unbound or Super Hoopa, Shoko Nakagawa as Mary (Good Hoopa's caretaker), and Shinichi Shinohara, judoka, as Hippopotas.
The 18th Pokemon film "Pokemon the Movie XY 2015" and soon to be named "Hoopa and the Clash of Ages" will be released in Japan theaters on July 18, 2015.
