Josh Trank is now out of the "Star Wars" movie anthology series. Rumors of him being kicked by Disney due to professionalism issues are silently creeping around the web. Tran on the other hand expressed his wish to pursue other projects, leading him to his decision on dropping out of the "Star Wars" film. Disney provides no comments about the issue and is on the look-out for a new director for the "Star Wars" Boba Fetts movie anthology.
Several new batches of "Star Wars" movie will be released be Disney this year as well as in 2018 including "Star Wars: Rouge One" as well as the Boba Fetts origin story. Unfortunately, the second movie anthology featuring Boba Fetts will have to catch its breath as its director Josh Trank leaves. He shared, "After a year of having the incredible honor of developing with the wonderful and talented people of Lucasfilm, I'm making a personal decision to move forward on a different path."
"I've out a tremendous amount of thought into this, and I know deep down in my heart that I want to pursue some original creative opportunities, "he continued.
Despite Tranks formal announcement of leaving the film, rumors of him being kicked out of the project are spreading online. Disney allegedly asked the director to drop the project due to erratic behaviors. He was not even present during the "Star Wars" celebration in April due to flu. Some reports on the other hand claims that Disney asked him not to attend the event.
The "Star Wars" anthology movie was supposed to be featuring Boba Fett, one of the galaxy's most notorious bounty hunter in the "Star Wars" universe. He is a Mandalorian warrior who was trained under Jango Fett and works for the Empire. He takes assignments from Jabba the Hutt and even managed to catch Hans Solo in one of the "Star Wars" movies.
Meanwhile, Disney remains mum about the issue. The only thing sure for at the moment is a Boba Fett "Star Wars" movie in 2018 without Josh Trank.
