"The Magnificent Seven" movie remake is already starting to hit on a faster pace as it hails Antoine Fuqua as director of the upcoming film. He'll be leading the remake of the 1960 movie, hopefully including Byung-hun Lee and Jason Momoa as cast.
Byung-hun Lee known for her antagonist role in G.I. Joe is under negotiations to become part of the all-star cast of "The Magnificent Seven" movie reboot. Jason Momoa is also rumored to land a role in the upcoming Western inspired film from the 1960's. The movie is starting to complete its cast as filming starts later this May.
The Western inspired movie has already named Denzel Washington as the lead bounty hunter of "The Magnificent Seven.". Byung-hun Lee is rumored to be completing one of the last two spots in the movie. He will be working alongside Chris Pratt, Vincent D'Onofrio, Wagner Moura and Ethan Hawke. Lee's character will be a former indentured servant who is skilled with the weapon sai named Billy Rock.
The "Magnificent Seven movie reboot" is believed to be one of the most remarkable movies in Hollywood's history. The movie back in the 1960's was a remake of Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece 'Seven Samurai." The plot may seem like the usual damsel in distress looking for salvation, but fans should now be fooled. The unlikely characters of the seven lead actors in the movie, with a single mission in mind will definitely bring back the old western "American Spirit' we have all been missing in the movies of today.
It will be set in a village far from civilization at an era where superheroes and sci-fi movies are considered as the 'trend' in the movie industry. Jason Momoa is also believed to be playing a role in the "Magnificent Seven" movie. The actor is also set for his first starring role as the "Aquaman" in the movie with the same title. With his dominant look and towering presence, it is not a surprise to see him as one of the villains in the upcoming film.
"The Magnificent Seven" will bring a fresh breather this 2017 as the American Spirit returns in the big screen. Jason Momoa and Byung-hun Lee are most likely sealed as cast in the upcoming movie despite of the lack of an official press release.
"The Magnificent Seven" film will be released in cinemas on January 13, 2017.
