‘Hart of Dixie’ Season 5 Renewal up to Rachel Bilson? Zoe will not return to Bluebell?

By

Until now, no official statement came from The CW whether 'Hart of Dixie' season 5 renewal could happen or not. But previous reports revealed that Rachel Bilson is on vacation to spend some quality time with her newly born child, along her fiancé, which indicates that the possible renewal depends upon her.

According to latest reports, aside from the fact that Rachel Bilson wants to spend some quality with her baby Briar Rose and her long time boyfriend Hayden Christensen, the actress left Los Angeles city to avoid answering questions from media about the possibility of 'Hart of Dixie' Season 5. Is she not willing to return to the show?

After Season 4 was concluded, many fans want the show to continue for another round. But the report that Rachel Bilson's leaving made them heartbroken. Cast member like Jaime King, who played Lemon in the series, already hinted what could be its final verdict.

If 'Hart of Dixie' Season 5 renewed without Zoe, the storyline may have to focus on other characters like George and AnnaBeth, and Lemon and Lavon. Writers of the show can play with these characters in different ways.

Meanwhile, CW president Mark Pedowitz previously stated that they are carefully weighing everything out before making any final decisions and contrary to Jamie King's statement, the CW's boss continued to be adamant looking into the 'Hart Of Dixie' Season 5's ratings as the basis for their decision.

"We're going to see the ratings," Pedowitz announced. "I think Leila did a great job in the 10 episodes this year of making something fun for the fans. So if it ends, there's a great finale. If it doesn't end, there's a great season finale, but we're not committed one way or the other yet."
