Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is officially confirmed by game developer Arc System Works to release on Nintendo 3DS June 11th in Japan and also expected to arrive in North American including European regions shortly.
Developed by Arc System Works and published by Namco Bandai, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is an upcoming 2D fighter which features myriad characters from the Dragon Ball Z series and adding the powerful Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta as an assist character if players have a save date from the Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2, a card-based fighting game that is basically a Nintendo 3DS port of the arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes..
News Hub reported that by having a save file from Dragon Ball Heros: Ultimate Mission 2 on their 3DS, players can unlock Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta who appears as an assist character. His powerful assist move, the ultimate Final Shine Attack will help personal characters during the brawl.
In addition, Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden 3DS appears to have tons of extra maneuvers that can be seen in other fast-paced 2D fighters. The official website shares the basic and advanced moves.
Directional Commands:
- Left: to move forward (when enemy is to the right)
- Right: to move back (when enemy is to the right)
- Double tap: dash
- Pressing back during enemy attacks: guard
Basic Commands:
- Y: light attack
- X: heavy attack
- A: special attack
- B: urgent evasion
- B during an enemy attack: super speed
- R: charge "Ki (energy)"
- L + Y: Surprise Attack
Other Commands:
- A/B/X/Y while down or in mid-air: recovery [landing]
- Y during jump: light jump attack
- X during jump: heavy jump attack
- A during jump: special jump attack
