Fans of the hugely popular life simulation game "The Sims 4" are in for new fun stuff beginning April this year until the entire fiscal year of 2016. Electronic Arts or EA has hinted out that they are planning to release Sims 4 new expansion packs, game packs and multiple game updates, given that the company received positive earnings from the previous fiscal year.
With the release of "The Sims 4 : Get to Work" expansion pack last month that allowed three playable careers namely a doctor, police officer and scientist, along with the return of the Sims retail businesses, die-hard fans of the game are clamoring to let EA know exactly what else they want to see in the next expansion or game updates for "The Sims 4". In fact, EA has conducted a survey in order to get the fans' opinions for "The Sims 4" and players were not shy in voicing out their ideas on what they want for the game.
Results of the survey indicate that EA might include adding in new scenery such as hotspots and nightclubs, season specific locations such as a beach or resort, creating the perfect pet companion for Sims, as well as adding new pet interactions like teaching them tricks or watching them annoy Sim neighbors. Other notable requests from players is wanting their Sims to have clearer career definitions in order to lead their Sim characters to success or failure, and also to include new hobbies, skills and careers.
Fans of the game also voiced out their request to add in game elements that were available in the Sims 2 or Sims 3 franchise such as a university or college pack, changing weather and seasons, luxury items, cars and supernaturals. These are just some of the suggestions and EA is certainly not obligated to include any of these, but the survey does provide them a better idea of exactly what fans really want.
Since the launch of the Sims 4 base game last September 2014, two expansion packs has been released by EA namely "Get To Work" and the first game pack, "Outdoor Retreat", which was launched in January 2015. The latest April and May game patches also provided gamers free stuff and build items such as basements, pools, aliens, Easter eggs, new costumes and more. Given these latest news, fans will surely watch out for future Sims 4 expansion pack news and game updates.
