Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire are about to get a new downloadable character come next month. This would be none other than Dragonite, soaring high at a level of 55.
The said Nintendo 3DS title will launch the character for gamers from June 22 up to July 12. In order to do this, a serial code needs to be retrieved from any affiliated GameStop shop. It should be noted that the code will be given for free.
The catch with this bonus Pokemon creature is that the event codes are finite. This means that those who really want to get a hold of this should be as prompt as they can be. From what GospelHerald has reported, taking the necessary measures to acquire Dragonite would be worthwhile due to its many special abilities.
Some of its attacks include Outrage, Hurricane, Dragon Dance, and Extreme Speed. In the middle of a battle, the dragon pokemon will be able to give itself some HP through the Lum Berry that comes with it.
Another thing to take into account would be that the Pokemon X and Y versions also have this character. Similar to the title will be an upcoming event for GameStop, called "Pokemon Trading Card Game: XY - Roaring Skies expansion."
Nintendo has revealed their overall sales various Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games. SiliconEra gives a more complete list as opposed to another report, where certain top games were not included. It can be seen that Pokemon ORAS ranked 4th with 9.94 million sales, combining both download and hard copies of the game.
While this figure is a far cry from the sales of the original Ruby and Sapphire versions, being 16.22 million worldwide, what ORAS achieved is still worthy of recognition.
Pokemon Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire continues to uphold the legacy of the game from its roots of being a TV series. With booming results in sales and a new downloadable creature on the way, fans should stay tuned for more updates.
