The trailer for "Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is rumored to be released on May 22 the same time that the upcoming Disney film "Tomorrowland" hits the theatres. However, there has been no confirmation if the much-awaited trailer will really be seen by then.
"Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" is set to be released this year but no trailer has been out yet. The rumor about the trailer being released on May 22 came two months after rumors also started to surface saying that the trailer for the second half of the anticipated movie will be release during the premiere of "Insurgent."
The trailer for the first half of "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" was released via the promotional site of the franchise, which is TheCapitol.PN. Lionsgate posted a video bearing the Mockingjay logo and it is not yet sure if the same will be done for the trailer of the second half of the four-part franchise.
"Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be kicking off from when Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence, and the other people from the remaining 12 districts started a revolution against the Capitol and President Snow. This movie will be the last installment for the books written by Suzanne Collins that were released from 2008 to 2010.
The first part of Mockingjay was dubbed by many fans as boring and lacked action as they expect that the second half will be more explosive since it will showcase the final battle between Everdeen and President Snow.
Mockingjay Part 2 is expected to show what was written in the book and Katniss and her friends will continue to try and stop President Snow from controlling the district. It is unknown yet what will happen to Peeta as the first part ended with him being violent towards Everdeen.
"Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2" will be out in theatres this November 20 and the other actors expected to be on the second part are Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks.
