With the success of the 'Fast and Furious 7,' fans of the film were anxious if there would be a sequel to it. Now, it has been confirmed by Vin Diesel that 'Fast and Furious 8' will come out on April 17, 2017. In relation to that, can Vin Diesel make it without Paul Walker?
After Vin Diesel announced the official release of 'Fast and Furious 8' in Las Vegas last month, no plot has yet been confirmed. When Diesel spoke about Paul Walker, he said "There is something you all did. For me, personally, you all gave me so much confidence. There was so much love. You made me feel like we could actually make history with 'Furious 7'. You've been so loyal all along."
In the movie "Fast and Furious 7,' the climax was about Paul Walker (Brian O'Connor) retiring with his child and with his pregnant wife Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto). With what happened in the movie, will Brewster still be in the eight installment of the 'Fast and Furious?' Well, the actress said it still depends on the fans if they still want her to part of the sequel.
Without Paul Walker in the upcoming movie, there are characters expected to fill up his absence. Though not all were named, it was official that Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell are joining the gang. Also, dead characters like Sung Kang or Gal Gadot might return to the sequel according to some reports. Well, this means massive work in writing the script is needed to bring them back from the dead.
It was also reported that Cody Walker, Paul's brother will still be in the movie which will be shown next year, though it will take time for him to practice all the stunts and skills since he is a newbie.
While the 'Fast and Furious 7' became the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time in Hollywood, will this pressure the cast and the crew of the movie franchise?
