iPhone 6s could be on its way closer than the rumored iPhone 7 as Ming Chi Kuo, a KGI Securities analyst made a word with investors on the subject of the upcoming iPhone. Reports say that the new iPhone iteration will come in 4.7 and 5.5 inch options to be released this year.
Ming Chi Kuo a consistent record holder in delivering accurate leaks about Apple products has reportedly spoken to investors privately announcing the key features of the newest iPhone for 2015. According to sources, the new iPhone will be referred to as iPhone 6s instead of the recently circulating iPhone 7. The new model will arrive in two variations - 4.7 and 5.5 inch. Ming Chi Kuo also discussed resolution with the issues occurring in the currently available iPhone 6.
In Ming's recent talk with investors, he mentioned that a different casing material will be used for iPhone 6s to resolve the bending issue in iPhone 6. This could be in relation to rumors circulating about Apple's patent collaboration for a high-tech metal to be used in its next iPhone model. The metal is reportedly 60% tougher than the housing used in iPhone 6. The well-known securities analyst adds that the 5.5-inch model will likely have a limited number of units with sapphire cover lens provided that drop test issues are resolved. The two iPhone 6s are expected to reach the public within the year.
Chinese sources report that the Cupertino based enterprise is preparing for iPhone 6s release date in September. Its production in June this year targets a public launch the end of Q3 2015. Reports add that there's a 230 million unit goal by its launch date.
It seems like Apple is living up to its rumored improvements and features to level up with its competitor. Apple may be on its way in embarking new heights rather than vouching on a well-reputed brand.
