Apple iPhone 6s Force Touch display feature has been a consistent info among rumored features of the next iPhone. The latest spill from Ming Chi Kuo shapes up expectations for the upcoming iPhone 6s.
Force Touch as one of iPhone 6s feature wouldn't be a surprise anymore since it is already present in the recently released Apple Watch. It is also included in Ming's list when he privately notified investors about the new phone from Apple. The KGI analyst added that the phone will have two options in 4.7 and 5.5 inches but not a 4 inches model.
It will reportedly have the same resolutions as the existing models. Its camera will have an upgrade of 12 MP while an additional mic will be placed near the speaker for better voice quality. A better user experience could be a thing to look forward to with the inclusion of an A9 chipset and 2GB RAM. The rumored high-tech metal will reportedly also take its place as the new casing material for the upcoming iPhone. Ming Chi Kuo also mentioned a possible increased marketing for Touch ID to promote Apple Pay. Its 5.5 inch model will possibly have a limited edition feature.
In Ming Chi Kuo's latest talk with the investors, he reportedly mentioned that the 5.5 inch model will have a sapphire cover lens for a limited number of units. Sources say that the sapphire cover material is a better counterpart of the Gorilla Glass but it's pricey to manufacture. In addition, GT Advanced, Apple's supplier for this material went bankrupt so talks of producing a limited number of iPhone 6s with sapphire cover make sense. This feature is among others that are expected to make the iPhone 6s to be a bigger hit than its previous versions.
Expert reviews deem the iPhone 6s to have the biggest incremental improvement among previous "s" models. Despite the reported same resolution, the new iPhone with 2 GB RAM, A9 processor and limited edition sapphire cover make a big leap.
