Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin's Creed Syndicate to release on PS4 and Xbox one and coming later in the Fall for PC which is listed as Holiday 2015. Unfortunately, the game will not be launching to last gen console versions, Xbox 360 and PS3.
The release date of the new Assassin's Creed game was confirmed in the announcement trailer, which also gave details on The Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Missions as a pre-order bonus.
"Embark on two pulse-quickening missions that will take you into the inner sanctums of London's most influential men. Defend Charles Darwin's discoveries from those who would kill to silence him. And help a friend of legendary writer Charles Dickens keep a secret that could get him killed," reads the game's official website about the mission.
There are several packages of the game is being sold in the official website. There is a Standard Edition that is worth $60 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The same package is also being sold in a $90 Gold Edition with an addition of Season Pass featuring a major expansion plus digital content & exclusives.
Another package is The Assassin's Legendary Hidden Blade and Gauntlet Edition which includes a functional hidden blade with an intricately sculpted plastic blade and rope dart detail attach to the bottom of the forearm, while the adjustable straps and highly detailed simulated-leather gauntlet attach to the top of the forearm."
A Cane Sword Edition features a "fully detailed sword and a button triggered spring-loaded scythe blade," with an intricately sculpted plastic cane sword that is 36 inches tall.
Finally, the Collector's Edition will include the Season Pass, Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Mission, a 9-inches size Jacob Crossroad figurine, a double-sided map of London, an artbook, and the official Assassin's Creed Syndicate soundrack.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set in 1868 London at the height of the industrial revolution and a twin brother and sister duo, Jacob and Evie Frye, are its central protagonists to overthrow the ruling Templar power.
