Rise of The Tomb Reader will be having its timed exclusivity within this year of 2015. This would only be for Xbox 360 and Xbox One; so those hoping to catch it on PS4 and PC should find ways to attract that possibility.
Last 2013, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix have introduced Tomb Raider, where it became a triumphant move. In terms of sales, the units distributed amounted to more than 8 and a half million. This makes 2013's Tomb Raider the most successful deal in the title's history, based on MoviePilot.
While the game gave a fulfilling experience to fans, some still hoped that more action and puzzles were included in the gameplay.
It is clear that the game itself has a lot to offer. One aspect that is still rocky for Square Enix would be incorporating the multiplayer mode. This is something that displeased a lot of fans, feeling that any fun was just short-term, and that it did not enhance the experience in any way.
A main concern for Lara Croft's fans right now would be if multiplayer will return in Rise of the Tomb Raider. The title has been compared with the Uncharted games from Naughty Dog. There are suggestions that if Square Enix's game can match the multiplayer quality of the Uncharted series, then it might have a shot of being worthwhile.
Another project from Crystal Dynamics which also features Lara Croft would be Relic Run, which is a mobile game that somehow takes after the style of temple run. The game had its soft launch in the Netherlands about a month ago, as noted in TechTimes. More updates are needed with regard to its official launch date to different regions.
Gamers have to wait just a few more months for Rise of the Tomb Raider to be released for Xbox. However, it can be problematic if it ends up being pushed another year with an unimpressive multiplayer mode. Meanwhile, Relic Run for iOS and Android users is something to look into.
