FIFA 16 Out in September Features New Story Mode; FIFA 15 FREE in EA Access for Xbox One

FIFA '16 comes with several updates as the simulation game is on its way this September, EA announced. For one thing, a story mode may be a unique feature of the game compared to its previous versions.

This news comes from MasterHerald, saying that the said gameplay will enable gamers to form a football player and have him go through various training sessions. This will eventually raise his ranks to being part of bigger football clubs.

The idea is not farfetched as this has been done on other EA Sports video games such as in WWE 2K15, with its MyCareer mode, as well as with MyPlayer mode as seen on NBA 2K15.

Of course, it would be best to take this rumor with a pinch of salt until EA gives an official confirmation about the inclusion of a story mode, in addition to the release date for PC and other consoles.

In terms of the players for FIFA '16, an article from FullFIFA takes into account the past performances of the players as a basis for who should be downgraded in the upcoming game. From the English Premier League, 10 forwards from FIFA '15 have been mentioned.

The list includes Emmanuel Rivere, Steven Fletcher, Danny Welbeck, Bafetimbi Gomis, Emmanuel Adebayor, Reberto Soldado, Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko, Robin Van Persie, and lastly, Radamel Falcao. It should be noted that the ratings will be used, as these are performance indicators which constantly fluctuate throughout a particular season.

When it comes to FIFA 15, fans will be glad to know that it is now being offered for free through the EA Access subscription program. Those who are members will also have a 10 percent discount for points bought on the FIFA Ultimate Team.

One thing to note, however, is that EA Access is exclusive only to Xbox One, being at $5. While there are a lot of benefits from this service, such as being able to play games a week in advance, in addition to the freebies, jumping to other consoles is something worth considering.

There are a lot more things to know about FIFA '16. As for FIFA 15, the game is managing a smooth tide with a new update that gives it more stability, in addition to fixing the 'coin farming' issue. Football fans will have a lot to be busy with while FIFA 16 is still on its way September this year.
