The Legend of Zelda Wii U video game will remain high up in the sky as fans hope for a miracle that the game would be released sooner. There have already been several reports that the Nintendo title will not make an appearance in the coming E3 2015. More so, the release may be even pushed as far back as the year 2017. What would fans have to say about that?
It was promised that Legend of Zelda for Wii U would be released within this year. Hence, gamers have been anticipating it thanks to the amazing gameplay from Skyward Sword. However, a report from GospelHerald makes it clear that the game will not be arriving anytime soon.
Eiji Aonuma, the producer of Wii U's Legend of Zelda spoke in a video where he said, "we are no longer making a 2015 release our number one priority." The statement continues, "Instead, out priority is to make it the most complete and ultimate Zelda game. I hope to use the added time to make The Legend of Zelda for Wii U into a game that will reward you for your patience, so thank you for your continued support."
Despite the fact that delaying the Nintendo video game will give it more time to be perfected, the news has disappointed a lot of fans. Many of which have lost hope in the developer, seeing that this title is one of the few they are very eager to get a hold of.
Since the advent of the Wii U, things have looked less than well for Nintendo. Fortunately, they have been able to produce successful games in certain franchises such as Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. It goes without saying that releasing Legend of Zelda sooner would be a good competitor against the games for Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PlayStation 4.
The Legend of Zelda Wii U has been delayed for an uncertain period of time, though surely will not appear within this year. Players, then, could divert their attention to other games. Nonetheless, one that offers a similar type of action would be Hyrule Warriors, hence something to look in to.
