'Inhumans' Film Teased in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?' Executive Producer Talks increased Inhuman Presence

By

Inhumans are everywhere- the mutated humans created from the Terrigen Mist are popping up more than ever in Marvel comics, Marvel movies and Marvel TV shows- especially in Agents of SHIELD, which recently closed off its second season with a massive tease for the future of the Inhumans.

In the finale, Jiaying, revealed to be the season's big villain, was foiled in her attempt to spread the Terrigen Mists around the world and cultivate an army of Inhumans. Except, not really- in the show's final moments, we see the Terrigen crystals leeching out into ocean water, then into the bodies of nearby fish, then onto a fishing boat and into thousands of bottles of fish oil, distributed across the country.

It makes it pretty clear- Inhumans are about to blossom up all over the Marvel Universe. Could that be the beginnings of where Inhumans, the upcoming Marvel film, will begin? The film is rumored to star Vin Diesel as Black Bolt, which would mean the film focuses less on ordinary, just-transformed Inhumans and more on the ancient Inhuman royalty in the city of Attilan.

As well, a recent interview with Agents of SHIELD executive producer Jeffrey Bell confirms that the Inhumans are going to keep spreading at an exponential pace. When asked about the fish oil tease, Bell replied-

"We have to watch and find out. To say too much would spoil the fun. We'll definitely see the mist, whether it's the old-school mist or the one with the metal - we need to wait and see."

If Black Bolt (the king of the Inhumans, and a being so powerful that his voice can destroy planets) ever ventures to planet Earth, it's a safe bet that he'll have some involvement with the rapid spread of fish oil Inhumans from Agents of SHIELD. What do you think- will the two Marvel franchises link together at some point? Inhumans will premiere in theaters on July 12, 2019.
