The Project CARS Xbox One patch is on its way to bring improvements to Slightly Mad Studios' recent game. Upon launch of the said title, it has received praises for the refreshing gameplay. However, it is not without its flaws, hence certain issues are being assessed by both the developer and Microsoft to give players what they deserve.
Shortly after its release, Project CARS easily put itself on the map last May 9 when it went past other famous games like FIFA 15, Mortal Kombat X, and even GTA 5. This is based on a report from GameSpot, which also mentions an upcoming path to fix bug issues on the Xbox One game.
One of the main things that fans have a problem with would be the lack of choices for multiplayer. Gamers are not able to join lobbies of their choice, which takes them to random situations and random people. As mentioned in IBTimes, though, Slightly Mad Studios isn't the one to address regarding this concern, but Microsoft.
While this is the case, the developers are doing what they can to help players improve their experience. On Gamepur, the developer stated, "I can tell you that Xbox One will gain at least four percent to seven percent performance in a patch shortly and address some of the controller issues."
PS4 users have their own concerns, being that a ghosting effect was observed. Some thought this was a bug, according to Games.on.net, but this has been explained by the developer. Apparently, this was caused by an anti-aliasing system. Rather than being a bug, it is an after-effect, as noted by Chris Wollaston-Savage from Slightly Mad Studios.
The Project CARS Xbox One patch will help bring a better experience to players, despite the generally positive feedback the game has acquired. However, more updates would be needed on what enhancements would be included in this fix, as well as how much the 4 to 7 percent boost will actually provide.
