Forza Motorsport 6 started the year with good some news saying that it is going to be released soon. This definitely brought racing fans, which can't get enough of speed, a lot of excitement.

The earliest word from its launch was made by the ForzaMotorsport website's report on the North American International Auto Show, when Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft announced the 6th game's development for Xbox One. The cover star of the title was also revealed in this event, which was none other than the all-new Ford GT.

Aside from these, Turn 10 Studios' creative director, Dan Greenwalt, shed light on when details on the gameplay would be laid down. He said, "Just as Ford has pushed boundaries of car technology in GT, Forza Motorsport 6 will embrace that spirit of innovation as our most technically advanced racing simulation to date, offering a fun and realistic automotive experience for both car lovers and gamers."

Later on in his statement, he mentions that gameplay features will be discussed next month in the E3. Forza Motorsport is bound to impress its fans as the game also marks the 10-year anniversary of the title's series. The first game was launched in 2005 for the original Xbox.

An executive from Microsoft confirmed that Forza Motorsport is set to be released within the holiday season of 2015. According to GameSpot, this release window belongs to the Inner Circle podcast. It will arrive alongside other famous Xbox One exclusives such as Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Quantum Break, and Fable Legends. The last one will also be launched for PC.

Forza Motorsport 6 is already available for pre-order from various retailers such as Amazon, BestBuy, Target, and GameStop. The last one prices the title at $59.99. Racers and gamers out there should stay tuned for more updates and more specific details.
