The latest reveals on Hello Games' elusive title, No Man's Sky, have been scant at this time for some reasons. Thanks to an insider at Sony who recently teased some first-hand clues supporting the fact that the development of highly anticipated indie game is ongoing smoothly with a polished build of PS4 exclusive title.
Such tease is music to the ears of fans as he said the gameplay was worthy of a "woah" adding a hint of No Man's Sky mystery release date.
The reported Sony strategic content employee, Shahid Kamal Ahmad, has revealed that the biggest space exploration title is still being actively worked on as he sent cryptic tweet regarding the game. He went on saying, "Whenever I think of 'No Man's Sky,' whenever I see it, whenever I hear about it, one word comes to mind every time: WOAH!"
The Sony representative further said he was going to "dream of worlds that no eyes will see but mine" adding hashtag No Man's Sky at the end of the tweet.
On a more serious note, Sony has placed its full commitment and 'put the full weight of PlayStation' behind the upcoming ambitious indie game. The company extends effort to make the PS4 exclusive title as a first-party game, despite possibility of the game's release to other platforms in the future.
Fergal Gara, PlayStation's UK chief, has assured that Sony will be giving its all-out support to the indie game developer Hello Games.
Speaking with MCV, Gara said:
"No Man's Sky has been treated as if it was from one of our internal studios," Sony UK managing director Fergal Gara told MCV. "We have been working very closely with the developers and bringing it into our release program as if we had made it."
"We are not going to treat it any differently and we are going to put the full weight of PlayStation behind it," he added. "If it all comes together as well as expected, it will be treated like a first-party release; it is not a self-published small indie title on the platform."
As known to all, No Man's Sky is timed-exclusive title for Sony's PS4 before before the game will be seen coming to PC and other platforms later. The game is due out later this year for PS4 and it remains to be seen whether Sony will be making release date announcement at the prestigious E3 Event this June in Las Vegas. Stay tuned.
