New information that has been reportedly leaked on the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 reveals the game's maps, storyline, and zombies.
A post by a Reddittor who claims to be a Marketing Intern at Activision but didn't disclose any further details about himself in order to protect his career shared details claimed to be "uncovered directly through corporate papers" with ninety five percent accuracy, although, we may wonder how in the world did these corporate papers got into the hands of this guy.
According to the purported leak, Treyarch is said to be using a new ranking system that ranges from 1-40. The player's rank will climb with as he fulfills certain requirements particularly with positive XP as a result of in-game actions such as enemy kills, headshots, revives, and so on. There is also called negative actions where a player's XP is depleted such as missed revives, deaths, game, quitting, and so on.
The game comes with four different maps, where the said documents describe them as Locales with their own set of quirks, weapons, and atmospheres.
The first map is called Zeitgeist which is set in a 'steampunk Chicago,' and is the only map to feature advanced movement capabilities such thrust jumps, slides and wall-running. The map is intended to act as a gateway to a character called Samantha's subconscious.
According to reports, Samantha is "offering dream-like imagery that will plague most of the map - the report states that the map is like an "LSD Dream Simulator -- large animals wreaking havoc through the streets, bright neon colours juxtaposing steampunk styles, etc," and is probably the most unique map to date." Details on the other maps are given on Redditor's post.
While the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is still months away, Gamespot revealed that Treyarch is already giving some bonus for gamers who will pre-order the game such as the Black Ops 3 Personalization Pack and two Advanced Supply Drops for Advanced Warfare that will give you the chance to get more Weapon Loot and Character Gear to customize your operator.
Treyarch is also giving away M1 Irons revolver as their gift to players for their continuing support of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. It is available to players in the "create-a-class" section of loadouts, says in a developer blog.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is scheduled to release on November 6th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
