Divorce rumors circulated around the internet saying Avril Lavigne and husband Chad Kroeger's marriage was going through a rough patch. But recent photos of the two together, holding hands in Miami beach proved all the rumors wrong
Reports say that the "Hush Hush" singer Avril Lavigne, and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger had been fighting. Also, the fact that they weren't seen out together that much, contributed to all the rumors. People's suspicions grew even bigger when Kroeger wasn't anywhere to be seen in Lavigne's 30th birthday September last year which she spent with her friends in The Bank Nightclub in Las Vegas.
November last year, Kroeger reportedly said that all the divorce rumors between him and Lavigne were not true. "You know my dad calls me up and he's just like, 'I haven't slept in 2 days, what's going on?' I'm like, 'Dad you're not buying all this crap are you?' You know, I get to hear all the rumour mill stuff. I find it very amusing," he reportedly said in an interview. "When you get out of high school, and it's like ugh, okay. All that rumour crap. All that stuff that people say behind each other's backs is minuscule, pales in comparison to the world of celebrity or being married to a celebrity," he added.
It wasn't until recently that the two were seen out holding hands in Miami beach, that the rumors were altogether stopped. The two wasn't seen together since the past year. Reports also say that Lavigne, 30, also suffered with Lyme Disease which kept her bedridden for months. She reportedly said her husband has been "really supportive" with her recovery. Reports say the singer is still recovering from the disease. She reportedly said that her mother, husband, and fans helped her get though it.
