Arrow season 4 spoilers: Green Lantern's hometown set to be a big part of the show, could the man himself show up?

By

In season three of Arrow, fans heard more and more about a place known as Coast City, and it just so happens that a very popular figure in the DC Universe calls that place home, so could a cameo truly be in the cards for the Green Lantern?

Unsurprisingly, the people in charge of the show aren't saying anything, and there's nothing out of the ordinary there. Even without them saying anything, there is enough to go on to at least theorize sensibly that a Green Lantern appearance is not completely out of the question.

In the most recent season finale of Arrow, Oliver Queen was seen heading towards Coast City in what was the final scene of a flashback, according to Comic Book. Various references have been made to the show before, but with Queen actually shown headed there, the chances for the Green Lantern are at least higher.

If this all seems like it's just grasping at straws and merely hoping for a Green Lantern appearance, well at least one indication that there may be more to this rumor is the fact that people on the show have already confirmed that a good part of season four is set to take part within Coast City, according to Franchise Herald.

According to Stephen Amell, the show's leading star, more scenes are going to be taking place within Coast City, though he did stop short of saying there would be an encounter with the Green Lantern while he was there.

In related news, one character who is confirmed for season four is Damian Darhk. The nefarious Darhk is set to be the main villain of season four, and although fans of the DC franchise may not have high hopes for him based on his previous appearances on shows, the villain is reportedly being remade for this particular arc, according to Den of Geek.

Fans will just have to wait to finally see Darhk's new persona and if the Green Lantern is truly looming in Coast City.
