Agent Carter is set to comeback with season 2, updates regarding the show is starting the come and it looks like a lot is to be expected for the upcoming season of the show. Story lines and location of the shoot has been revealed as well as the speculations on the new characters of the show.

Agent Carter has been renewed for season 2 on May 7, 2015 with the release date set in 2016 and the shooting location in Los Angeles. The show will air during the hiatus for Agents of SHIELD around 2015-2016 just as the first season did around 2014-2015.

The plot for the upcoming season of Agent Carter has been revealed by ABC and it reads "Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home - and perhaps even a new love - she's about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect."

Meanwhile, there are a lot of speculations regarding the casting of the show as only Hayley Atwell who portrays the role of Peggy Carter has been confirmed to return to Agent Carter Season 2. Dominic Cooper who portrays the role of Howard Stark on the other hand was casted as the lead role of AMC's "Preacher" pilot and might end up being busier than ever if it successfully becomes a series.

Although the location of the Agent Carter season 2has been identified, the shooting schedule as well as the definite release date of the show still remain a mystery. According to IGN, since the story will revolve around the post World War II Atomic Age, a 1950's setting might be applied for the upcoming season.
