The campaign for Halo 5: Guardians, Hunt the Truth, has continued with its 8th episode. The teaser spans 18 minutes, being able to leak a lot of details for fans to clamor their thoughts and excitement. Certainly, this has become an effective strategy for Microsoft and 343 Industries to keep gamers attuned with the title, while not really leaving the game as easily predicted.

The latest clip for Halo 5: Guardians has spared numerous questions and theories as to what it actually happening in the game's storyline. Design&Trend looks at different points of view in its latest report. Episode 8 from Hunt The Truth shows a violent side of Master Chief, where he breaks in a peace-keeping congregation and takes away 20 innocent lives. Aside from that, he also abducts an ambassador.

This scene leads to a lot of questions on whether the Master Chief's integrity is still intact, and if he is still the same hero from the previous Halo games. Is he just being framed for something he did not do? Or does he really have a reason for committing such violence? Then there's the question which fans would hope to not be true - could it be that the Master Chief really has a bad side, and that he wasn't always the hero he showed himself to be?

With this much surprise and intrigue in the plot, gamers have been very alive with their queries in forums and in the Halo community. GameNGuide gives some brief points on what the Hunt the Truth campaign has achieved so far. The statistics came from Microsoft using Sysomos English, which takes into account social media participation.
