The almost 3 minute-first official trailer for the new comedy horror TV series Scream Queens has been released by Fox on Tuesday. Among the characters that will complete the all-star cast are Emma Roberts and Ariana Grande. Some of them however will not be seen in the succeeding episodes as one of them will be killed one at a time.
THRILLER TRAILER
In the trailer of Scream Queens, a flashback on the death of one of the sorority group Kappa's members is shown. Twenty years after, a serial killer seeks revenge scaring students at Wallace University especially at the Kappa House, the sorority girls residence. Among the Scream Queens are Emma Roberts, the domineering leader of the group, with her loyal friends such as Abigail Breslin (Zombieland) and singer Ariana Grande.
The College Dean played by Jaime Lee Curtis, announces to the girls that for the school year, they will be accepting anybody who wants to join the organization and not just well-off students, which shocks Roberts. Other students such as Keke Palmer, Skyler Samuels and a nerdy Lea Michelle in awkward braces join the other girls in the house where a lot of bullying happens. One girl stands in the way portrayed by Samuels who lost her mother when she was young, probably the one who died in the same house 20 years ago. In the middle of all these, a person in a red devil terrifies the students and the episodes continue with nobody having an idea who the killer is while almost everyone has a motive to do so.
WHO WILL SURVIVE?
At least one character though will be killed in every episode. This was confirmed in a report by producer Ryan Murphy who also said that fingers will be pointed to one of the mentioned lead characters as the possible suspect. Nick Jonas also joins the cast where he is seen again shirtless in the trailer.
The new Scream Queens series is a mash up of the usual teenage horror stories with ideas from the makers of American Horror Story and Glee. Other cast include Nasim Pedrad, Oliver Hudson, Billie Lourd, Diego Bonita, Glen Powell, Lucien Laviscount and Niecy Nash.
With this all-star cast, Scream Queens will definitely not just make viewers scream in horror but in excitement as well. Scream Queen which airs every Tuesday, premieres on September on Fox Channel.
