'American Crime Story' Cast Update: Jordana Brewster joins cast as Nicole Brown’s sis; Will show stay true to Simpson's story?

Fast and the Furious star Jordana Brewster has been confirmed to be the newest addition to the new TV series American Crime Story. The actress will portray as Nicole Brown's sister Denise Brown in the upcoming series..

A report said Jordana Brewster, who also starred in Dallas, will join the cast of the new TV series. She will play as Denise Brown, the sister of O.J. Simpson's wife Nicole Brown whom he allegedly murdered. Her role though will not be that big and not much flashbacks will be expected. Jordana is also known for starring in the TV series Dallas.

American Crime Story is about true to life crime stories that centers on O.J. Simpson and his trial. Simpson is a retired American football player and actor who was acquitted from the murder of his former wife Nicole Brown during a trial that sparked controversy in the 90s.

Meanwhile, there isn't any development yet on who will be casted as Nicole Brown. A report says Cuba Gooding will play as O.J. Simpson, John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, David Schwimmer (Friends) as Robert Kardashian, Connie Britton (Nashville) as Faye Resnick and Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark.

Sarah Paulson also appeared in the TV series American Horror Story which is American Crime Stories' companion series on the cable channel FX. A report says FX and executive producer Ryan Murphy have planned on expanding the franchise on some of the biggest and famous true crime stories in America for the past decades. Simpson's story will come out in the first of ten episodes entitled American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson". Filming is said to start anytime within the year.
