To stir up the excitement of the fans, Warner Bros. has released a full-length second trailer for Joe Wright's most awaited October movie "Pan" featuring young Peter's friendship with Hook and his Neverland adventures.
Retelling the story of the J.M. Barrie's classic character of Peter, the film "Pan" focuses on an orphan who is transported to the magical world of Neverland where he discovers his destiny of becoming Peter Pan, a hero he never expected him to become.
If the initial trailer introduced us to Peter (Levi Miller) as the orphan who was spirited away to work for Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) in a place called Neverland, this time we see Peter and his friendship and adventures with Hook (Garett Hedlund) who is not yet his enemy in the film. Aside from this, the new trailer also highlighted a closer look at the world of Neverland which was seen with floating balls of water filled with fish, colorful flying creatures, a vibrant and lively tribe, a spooky mermaid lagoon, and of course elaborate ships sailing through air and sea.
Joe Wright is directing the upcoming film for Warner Bros. after the notable success of his previous films, "Atonement" and "Pride and Prejudice". Wright's film will star Levi Miller as Peter, Leni Zeiglmeier as Wendy, Hugh Jackman (Les Miserables) as pirate Blackbeard, Garett Hedlund (Inside Llewyn Davis) as Hook, Rooney Mara (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) as the tribe princess Tiger Lily, Adeel Akhtar (The Dictator) as Smee, Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables) as Mary and Cara Delevingne (Paper Towns) as one of the mermaids.
With its trailer's colorful design and stunning visual effects, the upcoming movie adaptation of the whimsical story of Peter Pan will surely give its fans and viewers a magnificent silver screen experience. Warner Bros. is releasing "Pan" in 2D, 3D and IMAX this fall starting October 9th.
