Most definitely, Samsung Galaxy S6 and its more curvy equivalent Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, are the latest flagship smartphone products from Samsung Inc. No question about that. And justifyingly enough, right from the onset, both devices shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. Talk about proper positioning!
But it did not stop there. Lately, adding even more improvements, a slew of bug fixes and performance enhancements has been made available for these two power smartphones courtesy of 5.0.2 Lollipop updates. True, some call the updates small, but you'd be surprised at what it can do to your fave Samsung handy phone.
Lately, AT&T and Sprint have issued Android 5.0.2 updates in the US both for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. This is largely in consonance with the rest of the world. Fact is, 'twas not the US clientele that got it first; Vodafone subscribers both in Italy and U.K. were the first to taste these timely software updates. Also, it's but a matter of time, Australia and the rest of the world should get their fair share.
Of course, although rumors are increasing of a June spread, there's no official word yet about the Android 5.1.1 updates for these two Samsung smartphones. At least not yet.
