‘Half Life 3’ Release Update: Valve Corporation continues to stay mum on game release; Offers a glimpse of the Half Life gameplay via Black Mesa

The wait for the release of "Half Life 3" continues. Valve Corporation remains to keep mum about the official release of the game, or even development status about the franchise. Fans continues to wait and keeps themselves busy with the "Half Life" experience they get to enjoy in Black Mesa as well as in other games that are trying to relive the excitement and game play of the "Half Life" online game.

Valve Corporation is offering Black Mesa as a temporary dish to satiate the cravings for "Half Life 3." Black Mesa was initially released back in 2012 but remained to be incomplete for that superb gaming experience. To online palyers surprise, developments were pursued for the game and now offer a latest version ready for gameplay via Steam.

The rebooted online game promises a feel of the seminal classic "Half Life." The enhanced environment and more challenging gameplay of Black Mesa offers 10 hours of gaming experience in the single-player campaign, the death match and in the team death match multiplayer modes. The online game is not yet officially released by an early access is not available via Steam. A $5 discount is also available for early access of the games that is planned to be release with a $25 tag price.

In recent reports, the possibility of "Half Life 3" being released in the market is believed to be never happening at all. The experience that comes with the use of Half Life's gravity gun is not being replicated in GTA V. There is now a user generated mod that offers the same experience and gameplay the gravity gun does in "Half Life 3." If the Valve online game will seize to exist, fans of the series can always turn on to GTA V as a replacement.

Last March at the GDC 2015, Valve officially announced Source 2, a speculation that came true and was initially thought as the beginning of new developments for the "Half Life 3" release. Unfortunately, the announcement did not include any details about the online game. The update about the HTC Vive caught the attention of the gamers in the event which deprived fans of the "Half Life 3" answers about the status of the online game.

Hopes about the possible release of "Half Life 3" are still high despite of Valve Corporations choice to stay quiet about the issue. For the meantime, online gamers can opt to get the Black Mesa as a temporary hobby while continuously waiting for a "Half Life 3" release or update.
