‘The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials’ Update: New Scorch Trailer, Movie poster, Behind the Scenes tease Gladers’ epic challenges

By

"The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" will see the Gladers in a whole set of dangerous challenges prepared by W.C.K.D. as per its newly released trailer, movie poster, and behind the scenes videos. 20th Century Fox gave them all away for fans to chew on before the sequel's premiere on September 18.

Fans are now going crazy about the new "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" trailer that saw the moment right after the first movie finished. The Gladers were taken to WCKD facility only to face another trial. After meeting other teens inside the facility, Thomas (Dylan O'Brien), Theresa (Kaya Scodelario), Newt (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) and the other Gladers decided to escape from Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen), who is called Janson in the movie.

After their "escape" (who knows it could be another WCKD trial?), Thomas and his friends wander in the desert , trying to survive "The Flare." The group will be tested (not a pun) various times in film adaptation of James Dashner's second book and might not live through the end of the movie.

Aside from the awesome trailer, 20th Century Fox previously released the movie's official poster, which displays the sun-scorched world that the Gladers have to face after escaping from WCKD. Also, MTV got an exclusive first look at "The Scorch Trials" set, which is inside an abandoned shopping mall.

During his interview, "The Maze Runner" leading man Dylan O'Brien expressed his admiration towards James Dashner's books series and also to their director Wes Ball, who gave justice to the first movie version.

"The book is insane, and we're bringing a lot of that to the movie," O'Brien said. "It really just opens up the world with such a mystery in the first one. Of course, with what [director] Wes [Ball] does with it, it's even cooler. The movie is going to look amazing, with a little less pressure off of me."

With a new trailer, movie poster, and behind the scene footages, fans who have been waiting for "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" may now have an idea what the movie will bring to the table once it hits cinemas.

"The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" drops on theaters on September 18, 2015.
