"The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" is currently making online buzz few months before its premiere. The film adds "Game of Thrones" stars Nathalie Emmanuel and Aidan Gillen to their cast to join Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, and the other gladers in the film adaptation of James Dashner's second book. It was also recently announced that the film version of final book "The Death Cure" will not be split into two parts, breaking the trend of feature film adaptation of YA series.

"The Maze Runner" franchise continues to tap television actors to crossover from the small screen to the cinemas. Its main protagonist, Dylan O'Brien currently plays Stiles in MTV's "Teen Wolf" while Kaya Scodelario starred in UK's series "Skins." Recently, "Game of Thrones" stars Nathalie Emmanuel and Aidan Gillen joined the sequel and will play important roles in the franchise.

After her stint as the hacker in "Furious 7," Nathalie Emmanuel will play Harriet in "The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials", a character who acts as Alby and leads the Group B gladers. Aidan Gillen on the other hand will become the main villain of the film as Janson aka "Rat-Man." They will join another GoT star Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who appeared in the first installment Newt, another glader who has become a good ally of Thomas (O'Brien's character).

It was also recently announced that the book series' final film adaptation "The Maze Runner: The Death Cure" will conclude the film adaptation on February 17, 2017 since it won't be split into two parts. Unlike all the other popular YA series film adaptation, 20th Century Fox decided to end the run of the series with only one movie.

James Dashner however, seems committed to continue the successful run of his YA series as he already wrote prequels to "The Maze Runner" series titled, "The Kill Order," which is expected to hit theaters on 2016, and "The Fever Code."

"The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials" is slated to premiere on September with Dylan O'Brien leading a jam-packed television stars who crossed over to the big screen. The second installment will premiere a year ahead of "The Death Cure," the final book in the James Dashner series.
