Five Nights at Freddy's 4 frightens fans in follow up feature; Chica and Cupcake make their creepy debut; Game slated for Halloween release

Freddy is back and he's coming for you. The incredibly popular point-and-click game is back for another installment of the simply frightening horror game. Five Nights at Freddy's 4 has another teaser to keep the suspense going for the big reveal on Halloween.

Five Nights at Freddy's game developer Scott Cawthon has released yet another image to tease fans about the upcoming 4th installment to the immensely popular horror video game. This time, the image is one of the animatronics named Chica and her creepy little cupcake hanging about her creepy little shoulder. No doubt that this indicates that Freddy is indeed back once again to bring fright at night to his loyal little legion of fans.

The new teaser image of Chica and her cupcake joins the cast of characters that will presumably be making an appearance to The Final Chapter along with Freedy and Bonnie. The new image of Chica is featured with extra rows of teeth and a phrase at the bottom, asking the question "Was it me?" Fans seem to think the question refers to the incident in the lore of FNAF. The particular incident is referred to as the Bite of '87 wherein a child was bitten by one of the animatronics. The phrase may point out that Scott Cawthon will finally reveal the mystery behind the unfortunate accident.

The new teaser for Five Nights at Freddy's 4 raises may questions in the internet universe. Will there be a change in gameplay? Will it be more than just a simple point-and-click this time around? Will the Bite of '87 finally be explained? These questions may or may not be answered come Halloween. And fans may or may not be continually teased with more creepy images of our serial killing animatronic friends. Surely, the game will still be simple; survive the five nights without being killed, and perhaps that will be reward enough unto itself.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4 teaser can be seen on Scott Cawthon's official website. The horror survival game is expected to be released this Halloween.
