Did Perrie Edwards break ‘One Direction’? Labelled as Yoko Ono of the Band; Liam Payne reveals the truth for Zayn’s Exit

By

"One Direction" fans were quick to blame Perrie Edwards when Zayn Malik's announced his departure from his famous group. Turns out, the fandom was right after Liam Payne confirmed in a radio show that Malik left because he wanted to be with his family and fiancée.

Liam Payne tells Capital Breakfast that he still misses his band mate for four years and he understands Zayn's reason for leaving their popular band "One Direction."

"It's like any other job really, sometimes you have to move on because you're not enjoying what you're doing as much," the singer said.

Ever since Zayn's departure from their group, Liam seems to be dealing with the breakup as calm as he could and is careful not to put the blame on anyone.

In his Twitter account, Liam expressed his sentiments over their group's toughest challenge as light as possible. He even posted a throwback picture of him wearing an odd looking pair of shorts.

When Liam Payne finally decided to make a serious statement about Zayn Malik, he managed to express his opinion as mature as he can.

The "One Direction" fandom took the blow with mixed reactions. Some understands Zayn's wish to become a "normal 22-year-old" while the others cannot avoid but expressed their disappointment.

Perrie Edwards, Zayn Malik's fiancée, was also blamed for his decision to leave the group. She was even labeled as the Yoko Ono of One Direction. The fandom was not entirely wrong as Liam admitted that Zayn wanted to "spend some time with his family and missus."

Even the other members of One Direction, especially Louis Tomlinson, were not happy about Zayn's decision. The two even exchanged bitter tweets earlier this month which almost broke Twitter. But when the British boy band appeared in "The Late Late Show with James Corden," they stressed that the issue between them and their former band mate is already resolved.

The Directioners also have nothing to worry about as Liam Payne said in his recent interview that there is no stopping for the 4-piece "One Direction"

Liam said, "We're just going to carry on doing what we're doing... We wish him [Zayn] all the best with whatever he goes into and stuff. We'll just have to see what happens."

Zayn Malik may have chosen a normal life with his fiancée Perrie Edwards over the rollercoaster ride that being a "One Direction" member experience. Liam Payne said that Zayn wanted to be with Perrie and he understands his ex-band mate's decision to quit their group.

The boys of "One Direction" is currently working on their fifth album.
