Avril Lavigne is finally ready to be seen by public again. After opting to step away from the spotlight while dealing with Lyme Disease, Lavigne went out for a swim and even posted pictures on her Instagram account. However, her husband Chad Kroeger is missing in the pictures. Are the two really getting a divorce?
The Canadian pop-star recently posted pictures on Instagram showing her spending some time under the sun. In one photo, Avril Lavigne is seen swimming with her brother, Matt Lavigne while another shot sees the singer with a close friend. She wrote, "Sippin On Sunshine" as caption in one of the snaps.
It was obvious that Avril's husband, Chad Kroeger, is not in any of the photos posted by the singer. Recent reports surfacing online claim that the "Fly" singer and the Nickelback frontman is already getting a divorce after their two years of marriage.
The two are reportedly in a rough patch at the moment causing them to live separately. Kroeger was seen not wearing his wedding ring last year for a couple of times and has not been beside Lavigne while she is fighting her illness.
The 40-year old lead vocalist has already addressed the issue, saying he finds the divorce reports "funny" sometimes. However, Chad Kroeger admits that the reports bother him sometimes not because he pays a lot of attention about them but because their families do.
"You know my dad calls me up and he's just like, 'I haven't slept in 2 days, what's going on?' I'm like, 'Dad you're not buying all this crap are you?' You know, I get to hear all the rumor mill stuff. I find it very amusing," the band vocalist said.
Kroeger, who previously stated how relieved he was when Avril decided to admit her illness to the public, is not in the Instagram photos as he is currently on tour with his band Nickelback in Australia.
