The popular multiplayer online game TERA was released on Steam earlier this month has risen to the top 10 free-to-play games and receiving positive feedback from the community because of its unique gameplay that makes it stand out from the other MMORPGs on Steam.
Steam users received quite the treat earlier this month when TERA MMO was made available on Steam, and has now made its way to Steam's top 10 free to play games. Its massive growth since its release date has increased the total number of accounts to over 4.5 million in North America and 20 million worldwide. TERA's uniqueness as an RPG still continues to attract more players from around the world because of its True Action Combat. Players won't be playing another conventional whack-a-mole RPG because fights are based on actual player skill. Players will have to use position, timing, and aiming in order to beat opponents. For example, players may need to dodge attacks and not always block an incoming attack during fights.
Even with its intense action during fights, TERA still has the depth expected by players from an MMORPG. The massive fantasy world of TERA has danger and adventure lurking in its corners that will keep players hooked for hours. Players can select from 7 races and several classes that all have unique abilities that can also be used to strategize in both PvP and PvE. These races are: the Aman, the Baraka, the Castanics, the Elins, the Highelves, the Humans, and the Popori. Each of these races has a unique ability that gives them an advantage over other races so players have to take note of this when planning their game strategies.
Because it is a freemium game, players can buy the game physically or digitally, or pay for a subscription in order to enjoy several privileges such as special quests, items, and more.
TERA MMO is a 3D fantasy freemium MMORPG developed by Bluehole Studios and published by En Masse Entertainment for North America. It is currently available in the Steam Store.
